These two paintings came from Emily Olson’s Watercolor Mastery program. You can find them in the Daily Challenges for June 2nd and 3rd. These were simple enough for me as a beginner and I think they came out so cute! Emily provides the sketch, inspiration photo and finished painting as a reference. Her videos are high quality and her teaching style is easy to follow for a beginner.
I used watercolor paints from Winsor & Newton Pro and Daniel Smith and the 8″x8″ sketchbook is from Handbook Journal Co.
You’ll need to be a member of Watercolor Mastery to access these tutorials, but Emily provides some free lessons if you want to try it out first.
